Michael S. Brandner Jr.

Mike has extensive experience in commercial litigation, personal injury, and first-party insurance litigation. Prior to Hurricane Katrina, Mike practiced commercial and tax litigation with a prestigious national firm representing many corporations on the Forbes Fortune 500 list.


After Hurricane Katrina, Mike began a new chapter in his career, started his firm, and represented companies in taxation disputes and commercial litigation. When Hurricane Katrina destroyed the Gulf Coast region, Mike represented businesses, condominium associations, and individuals in claims against their commercial insurers and property insurers.

Mike has successfully argued in the Louisiana Supreme Court, which prohibited the further use of some delay tactics insurance companies used to eventually deny claims. Mike has represented individuals and companies throughout the United States.


Mike continues to fight for clients against insurance companies in personal injury claims, property damage claims, and all first-party claims.


Mike has an undergraduate degree from LSU, a J.D. from Loyola Univ. School of Law in New Orleans, an LL.M. in Tax Law from Boston University School of Law, and a fellowship from the Loyola University Institute of Politics.
