Kathleen Brandner’s Family & Personal Life
Katie Brandner moved to New Orleans to attend Loyola Law School where she met her husband Mike and became a permanent fixture in New Orleans. Her and Mike have three children who all attend school in New Orleans. Katie and Mike started Brandner Gives Back to help inner-city families thrive even if all the cards may be stacked against them.
Katie graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Communications and Political Science. She has a law degree from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans. She’s the Director of Community Outreach and Involvement for Mike Brandner Injury Attorneys. Additionally, she’s enrolled in LSU pursuing a Masters degree in Non-Profit Administration.
Katie has been very actively involved in numerous philanthropic organizations within the New Orleans Community. She has been on the Board of Dancing Grounds, a non profit organization helping provide dance lessons and outreach to children in the St. Claude neighborhood. She has been very involved with the Junior League of New Orleans as well as her childrens’ schools where she has worked on numerous committees, chaired events and been a room mom. Katie has also been involved on committees with numerous local fundraising events, including Children’s Hospital’s Sugarplum Ball, the Preservation Resource Center’s Julia Jump, Legacy Donor Foundation’s Soul Revival, and The Delta Festival Ballet’s La Fete.
